SeatShareLK is a ride-sharing platform that connects drivers and passengers for shared travel within Sri Lanka. By creating an account or using SeatShareLK, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Platform Role

SeatShareLK is a ride-sharing coordination platform that connects independent drivers and passengers for shared travel within Sri Lanka.

SeatShareLK does not operate as a transportation provider, taxi service, or vehicle operator.

SeatShareLK does not:

• own or operate vehicles
• employ drivers
• guarantee rides
• provide transportation services directly

Drivers and passengers are solely responsible for their own conduct, travel arrangements, and decisions.

SeatShareLK currently facilitates ride coordination only.

SeatShareLK is not responsible for:

• fare disputes
• overcharging
• cash handling
• refunds between users

Users are expected to agree fairly on ride costs and payment methods.

5. Cancellations

Drivers and passengers should avoid unreasonable cancellations, especially shortly before departure.

SeatShareLK may apply penalties, restrictions, suspension, or account removal for repeated cancellations, abuse, fraudulent behaviour, or misuse of the platform.

6. User Conduct

Users must not:

• harass or threaten others
• share false information
• use the platform for illegal purposes
• post fraudulent rides
• misuse ratings or notifications
• impersonate another person

SeatShareLK reserves the right to suspend or remove accounts at its discretion. SeatShareLK may investigate reports, complaints, unsafe behaviour, fraud, harassment, abuse, or suspected misuse of the platform and may restrict, suspend, or permanently remove accounts without prior notice where necessary for platform safety or integrity.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SeatShareLK shall not be liable for:

• accidents
• injuries
• disputes
• theft
• delays
• cancellations
• vehicle damage
• loss of belongings
• actions of drivers or passengers

Use of the platform is entirely at the user's own risk.

8. Privacy

Users consent to the collection and storage of account and ride information necessary for operating the platform. This may include names, contact information, ride activity, ratings, reports, and other information reasonably required for operating and improving the platform.

SeatShareLK will take reasonable measures to protect user data but cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Communications

By using SeatShareLK, users consent to receive platform-related communications including booking notifications, account notifications, safety notices, and service updates via email or other communication channels.

10. Changes to Terms

SeatShareLK may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

11. Platform Content

SeatShareLK branding, logos, platform content, and software may not be copied, reproduced, or misused without permission.
